How Plan Changes Work

Changing your plan is simple and you're always in control. Here's exactly what happens when you upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.

Upgrading Your Plan

Run out of credits and need more? You can upgrade at any time from the Pricing page.

Here's what happens immediately:

You are charged the full price of the new plan right away.
The credits from your new plan are added to your account instantly.
Your billing date resets to today — your next renewal will be exactly one month from now.

Example: You're on Starter ($19/mo) and upgrade to Growth ($49/mo) on April 15th.

You pay $49 immediately.
You receive 300 credits right away.
Your next billing date becomes May 15th.

Why is the full amount charged? Because you receive the full credit allocation of your new plan immediately. There's no partial billing — you get all your credits upfront so you can start working right away.

Downgrading Your Plan

Want to switch to a smaller plan? No problem — you can downgrade at any time.

Here's what happens:

Your current plan stays active until the end of your current billing period. You keep all your remaining credits and features.
On your next billing date, you are automatically switched to the lower plan and charged the lower price.
You receive the credits of the new (lower) plan on that date.

Example: You're on Growth ($49/mo) and your billing renews on May 1st. You downgrade to Starter on April 20th.

Nothing changes until May 1st — you keep your Growth plan benefits.
On May 1st, you're charged $19 and receive 90 Starter credits.

No surprises. You always get to use what you've already paid for. The downgrade only kicks in at your next renewal.

Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel anytime from Settings > Billing in your dashboard.

Here's what happens:

Your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period. You keep your credits and features.
After that date, your account returns to a free state. No further charges.
Your Gallery is preserved — you can still view and download previously generated images.

Important: Credits & Refunds

Once credits have been delivered to your account, the associated payment is non-refundable. This applies to all plan changes:

Upgrades — You receive credits immediately, so the charge is final.
Renewals — Credits are delivered at the start of each cycle.

Bottom line: You're never locked in. Upgrade instantly when you need more, downgrade anytime to save, and cancel whenever you want. As credits are delivered upfront, that cycle's payment is non-refundable.
